-->  2010 Mendoza Malbec Clasico Altos Las Hormigas This estate was created by Alberto Antonini and Antonio Morescalchi, following their first visit to Argentina in 1995.
They were so impressed by the latent potential they discovered in Argentina that they joined forces with a few friends to buy a 216 hectare property in Lujan de Cuyo. Producing only Malbec, they now have a reputation as one of Mendoza's top fi ve producers of this variety. The wines are intense in colour and have great depth on the palate. The tannins are fine grained and the flavours pristine. Although the reserva has won all the accolades; we rather like the more restrained regular Malbec.
