Superb wine from the 'Golden Mile' just around the corner from such vineyards as Pingus and Vega Sicilia in the Douro Valley. A blend of 60% Tempranillo and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 12 months in oak (primarily American and French). Deep colour, full, rich and smoky nose that gives way to ripe, plummy fruit on the palate.
