Paulo de Marchi's Vin Santo remains without peer and the 200 vintage is no exception. A blend of 65% Malvasia del Chianti and 35% Trebbiano. The grapes were dried for 4 to 5 months before pressing and the must was then racked into small barrels, where it remained on it's starter culture (the 'madre') for five years while the long slow fermentation and maturation processes took place.
Deep amber colour, with an intense rich, nutty fruit on the nose. Intense and concentrated on the palate with great balance and length.
