Deep red in colour with a rich and complex nose of black fruits, mineral liquorice and french oak perfumes. On the palate it is rich and powerful, balancing intense sweet fruit with dark chocolate, a hint of leather and ripe tannins. It has good structure and a fine finish. Recognised by James Halliday as Winery of the year in his 2008 Australian Wine Companion.
