Produced from a vineyard owned by Tim and Angela Coddington whose grapes have made a proportion of the wine for the 'Estate' Chardonnay since 1998. Producing rich and unctuous Chardonnay the wine shows typical ripe peachy fruit we expect from this site. On the palate the wine is creamy with lovely balancing acidity. Will benefit from 2 to 4 years in bottle.
The Wine Advocate - Displays fantastic definition on the intense aromatics with crisp apple, limestone, apricot and white peach, the palate very concentrated with vibrant acidity, touches of apple and walnut and very good weight on the slightly honeyed, persistent finish. This should last at least a decade. 93 points.
