2005 Gevrey-Chambertin Domaine Joseph Drouhin

From vineyards in the Cotes de Nuits with chalky and clay marl soils which gives the wine strength and roundness. Lying on a gentle slope at approximately 700-800 ft. The wine has good colour and exhibits an aromatic bouquet of dark red fruits, renowned for it's power which is in harmony with finely grained tannins. Drink from 2010 to 2020.
