This superb white comes from selected vineyards from Villabuena, Samaniego and La Puebla , and is a blend of Viura (80%) and Malvasía (20%). The wine is fermented in new American and French oak casks, with daily batonnage, and aged on fine lees for approximately three months. The wine has fruity and floral hints on the nose, combined with smoky, toasty aromas from ageing in casks. It is powerful and well-structured in the mouth, with good acidity and lasting flavours.
