2004 Gigondas Cuvee Ventabren, Moulin de la Gardette
OK this is certainly pricey for what is a Cotes du Rhone Villages but it would compete favourably with many a Chateauneuf. 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Cinsault produced organically. Big, intense, rich and opulent. Will keep 15-20 years.
