Despite making some of New Zealand's finest Chardonnays the other varietal that Kumeu River have been turning heads with is their Pinot Gris. Best described as a style that fall between Alsace Pinot Gris and a top notch Pinot Grigio, it has wonderful depth, structure and complexity. It will even benefit from a year or two of bottle age.
