Tastings and Wine Dinners 2008 Besides the programe of tastings below we are also able to organise private tastings for corporate groups, wine societies and other organisations. These can be themed or feature a blind tasting competition and are quoted for on an individual basis. In the past year we have conducted succesful tastings for a number of wine societies (Pershore, Knowle and Dorridge, Stratford on Avon and Broadway), corporate groups and individual parties, from complete beginners to experts. Join us for a fine wine dinner taking place in the charming surroundings of Buckland Manor. Situated in ten acres of immaculate gardens the Manor dates back to the thirteenth century, and is wonderfully located in the heart of the Cotswolds. Join us for an evening featuring three of the most prestigious Champagne houses – Bollinger, Louis Roederer and Pol Roger - known collectively as the ‘Holy Trinity’. Established in 1829, 1776 and 1849 respectively, each house has its own distinctive style, however all strive to produce the very finest quality Champagnes. The evening will commence with a reception featuring the non-vintage cuvée from each producer enabling comparison of the differing house styles. This will be followed by a special four-course dinner created by head chef Steve Love, matched to a range of Champagnes from each house, to include Blanc de Blancs, Vintage, Rosé and Rich.
